ABOUT £1,000 was raised for charity when a Debenhams management team pooled resources with companies from across the area.
The management team of Redditch's new store held a team build day with a circus theme and sold raffle tickets, did face painting, made and sold balloon toys and collected for the town's Citizens Advice Bureau and St Stephen's Church.
Debenhams staff are now trying to track down a lady who generously donated £50 to give her an extra thank you for her kindness.
Companies and shops which supported the event, held in the town centre, were More than Music, Early Learning Centre, Three Cooks, Spencers, Poundland, Flower Fingers, the Quality Hotel, Dixons, Marks & Spencer and Woolworths.
