Those taking part in the celebration of cultures include Redditch Black History Group, One World Link, The Descendants of Windrush, Pakistan Forum, All Women's House, Community Relations Council and Forge Mill Museum.

The event runs from 1.30-11.30pm on Saturday, October 26, and guests booked to perform so far include Irish dancers, Punjabi stick dancers, African drummer Desmond Pusey, Afro-Caribbean dancer Sandra Golding, Woodrow Players Variety Group and storytellers Ingrid Mullins, Meena Sodha and Tanweer Dean.

Secretary of Redditch One World Link Jackie Morgan said it was hoped the event would be free.

Mrs Morgan said afternoon activities would include different workshops, while the evening would be more performance-based and there would also be the chance to sample different types of food such as Polish, Pakistani and Afro-Caribbean.
