THE Archdeacon of Warwick joined the congregation of Studley Parish Church on Sunday for a dedication of the completed Millennium Room.
After five years of fund-raising, the room has been finished, transforming the interior of the church, according to The Rev Richard Deimel.
Children can use it during services but it will also be a space for meditation, music practice and public meetings.
Historical documents and photographs of the church's surrounding conservation area will be based there too.
Stratford Council has pledged £8,000 to furnish the room but more than £70,000 was raised by villagers.
Another appeal to raise £3,000 for the restoration of a huge Georgian mural in the church is now running.
An open day will be held on Saturday from 2.30-4.30pm, when a new organ will be demonstrated and the new room open for viewing.
