AN exhibition by disabled artists across Worcestershire has gone on display for the first time.

Kidderminster Library is the venue for Untitled, which features work by 27 disabled people in the county, collected since June by the county council's cultural services department and social services. Mark Coleman, Rachel Rudd and Sarah Ellis, who have contributed to the exhibition at Kidderminster Library.

As part of the initiative the county council arranged residencies by artists in day centres, while a video featuring a further 14 people and photography are also on show.

Assistant county arts officer Anne Langford said: "We had a whole range of fantastic pieces to sift through and the selection procedure was extremely difficult considering the very high standard of the work."

The exhibition runs until the end of the month.
