THREE successive wins have lifted spirits at the Beehive as Studley climbed eighth in the Midland Alliance table this week.

The Bees followed up last week's 7-1 thrashing of whipping boys Wednesfield with a 3-0 home win over Ludlow at the weekend.

Manager Mark Chambers is still juggling with selection problems in his sizeable squad but has seen his charges start to put away the chances they have been creating all season.

Chambers was set to take advantage of the midweek break to look at a couple of youngsters in a practice match tonight (Wednesday) ahead of the visit to lowly Barwell on Saturday (ko 3pm).

Winger Mark Neath started a fresh five week ban this week but defender Martin Keight is available at the weekend.

Chambers is hoping to call on defender Steve Frost after Bromsgrove Rovers recalled him at the weekend to help them through an injury crisis and is waiting to see if Rovers recall Mark Crisp on Saturday.

Stopper Simon Redhead could return to light training this week after a twisted knee but the same problem will rule out left sided option Rob Powell.

Full back Mark Davis is feeling his way back after a hamstring problem which has troubled him since pre-season but centre back Kenny Fergie is taking an enforced break after a persistent knee injury.
