FUND-RAISING: After a busy early summer of fund-raising the local Save the Children branch is now gearing up for the autumn. On the morning of Wednesday, October 16, there will be an autumn bazaar at Tewkesbury Town Hall. In addition to the normal cake stall, craft stall, bric-a-brac and plant stalls there will be a selection of save the Children's Christmas cards and goods.

If you have plants that you have divided up when doing your autumn clear out, which need a good home, then please telephone 772477 for information about collection etc.

Before the Christmas shop opens in Tewkesbury, there will be a shop for the day at Home Farm, Tredington where, along with other charities, SCF will be selling Christmas cards and a wide range of gifts. This will take place on November 1.
