The annual meeting took place on September 3, when committee members were re-elected, and Phil Harris (G4SPZ) was awarded the G2WDE Memorial Trophy for Member of the Year.
A new venue for society meetings is being investigated for next year.
Over the weekend of September 7/8 members set up a portable radio station near Heightington, and took part in the SSB National Field Day contest.
Despite poor conditions, some 200 contacts were made with amateur radio stations around the world.
The annual surplus equipment sale will be held on Tuesday, October 1 at the Sutton Arms, Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster, starting at 8pm.
