Four star

FROM the creators of Toy Story comes this superb animation offering about the oddball characters who work for Monsters, Inc. - the largest scream factory in Monstropolis.

Sully, whose voice is supplied by John Goodman, and his side-kick assistant Mike, voiced by Billy Crystal, are a superb double act with just the right amount of differences to each other but affection for each other.

The job of the monsters is to harness the screams of children as this is the main source of energy which powers Monstropolis. 'We Scare Because We Care' is the appropriate company slogan.

The monsters have no problem with this except for the fact they believe children are toxic and highly dangerous and want to avoid close contact with them at all costs.

When toddler Boo, as she is named by Sully, enters their world, all hell breaks loose for the fiery but mostly loveable monsters.

Sully and Mike then begin to realise not is all as it should be at Monsters, Inc. and become desperately concerned about the fate of all human youngsters.

This film will produce both tears and laughter from young and old and will have people hooked.

The video also includes two animated shorts which are worth a watch.
