During the summer Lions attended carnivals in Bewdley and Kidderminster, Broadwaters Fayre and Stourport Horticultural Show.
At Bewdley they manned a gate and a stall, raising £42.
The following week at Kidderminster £84 was raised from books and games, and at Broadwaters £71 was realised.
Members were only able to attend the horticultural show on the Sunday, due to manpower problems, but £81 was raised.
Holidays in the club's caravan have been provided for many disadvantaged families.
A stall was booked for Stourport Carnival, but due to manning problems the club was unable to take this fund-raising opportunity.
As members get older and have health problems, there is a worry that the main fund-raiser, the Christmas float, will not be able to visit all the usual venues, so the club needs helpers, who do not necessarily have to join.
