HOCKEY: Ed Lang was on target as Kidderminster's first and second teamers drew their opening friendly 1-1 at home to Shrewsbury.
The thirds and fourths joined to play a second match against Shrewsbury and won 4-3.
Kidderminster rushed into a 3-0 lead by half-time, thanks to Martin Genes, Rupert Upshon and Rob Sorrell.
Shrewsbury pulled one back early in the second half before David Mills restored the three-goal advantage.
Late pressure from Shrewsbury produced two goals but Kidderminster held on to win.
