A fashion show presented by Mrs Jane Daniels of Blue in Broad Street, Pershore, and held as part of a charity appeal evening, organised by Pershore Townswomen's Guild in aid of the County Air Ambulance, raised the splendid sum £675.

The event, in Wychavon Civic Centre, was attended by the Mayor, Councillor R Hampton and Mayoress, Val Woods, and many members and friends. Eight members of the guild modelled the attractive and varied collection of clothes, which were shown after everyone had enjoyed a light supper. A raffle was held and raised £205.
