Bidford Ladies 4, Ilmington 2
RACHAEL Paddock struck her first hat-trick in a Bidford shirt as the hosts saw off their Cotswolds rivals.
Goals were in plentiful supply in an action-packed opening half. Ilmington twice took the lead but goals from Paddock and Penny Smallwood made it 2-2 at the break.
The visitors continued to pressurise the Bidford goal and were denied a third when a shot struck a post before gallant defence cleared the danger.
That was to prove the turning point as player of the match Paddock got on the end of two excellent passes from the wing to give Bidford a two-goal winning margin.
