BRETFORTON defeated Bidford in the final to win the annual hockey festival at the village club's ground.
Ten teams took part and it was Blockley and Bretforton in one semi-final and Badsey and Bidford in the other.
The finalists provided a fitting climax but it was the host club that were celebrating after a 2-1 win.
Lisa Workman opened the scoring in a 6-3 defeat of Cheltenham the previous day. The same player then doubled the lead before Cheltenham hit back.
Julie Stowe was next on target and Sarah Bragg joined the scoring list before half-time. Sophie Corbett scored two almost identical goals before the visitors pulled one more back.
Wright powered the final goal home in style.
