YOUNGSTERS at a Spa school look set to have their artistic minds broadened thanks to a new idea.
Children from Chawson First returned to school this term to face bright new corridors and artwork on the walls.
The idea, which aims to brighten up the building as well as educate the youngsters about different types of art, was funded by the parent's association at the Wyche Road school.
Posters in clip frames now line the corridors and the youngsters are being encouraged to bring a poster in from home to be displayed alongside the other artwork.
Headteacher Jerry Hughes said: "It is nice for the children to see a range of art and it provides a little bit of colour to the background of the school in areas that otherwise wouldn't be looked at much."
