ALAN Plater, writer of 60s classic Z Cars, is the guest speaker at the next meeting of WORDS.
The literary group will hear Plater reflect on 40 years writing of for radio, television, theatre and film.
His extensive areer has also seen him pen the successful Peggy For You, a theatre production in 1999, and Blonde Bombshells in 2000 and repeated this summer.
The talk is on Friday, September 27, in the Conference Room at LG Harris an Co Ltd, Stoke Prior from 8pm.
Plater will speak for an hour before answering questions from the audience.
