DEAR EDITOR - I really do not think that Bromsgrove District Council has a clue how much damage the proposed new parking charges will do.
People will not stand for it. Not only will they shop elsewhere, they will not vote for the fools next time either
Driving shoppers away to Redditch or Merry Hill will only increase the number of charity shops in the town, as major chains will not be interested.
I hope they see sense, but fear they are too short-sighted.
