BROMSGROVE RFC U14s got their season off to a flying start with a comfortable 51-7 home win over Bredon.
A poor first five minutes saw Bromsgrove stuck behind their own 22-metre line but they soon improved with Matt Newman scoring.
After the try, Bromsgrove turned on the style, finishing the half with a 30-point lead.
Two minutes in to the second half, Bredon scored a penalty try before Bromsgrove finished the game with Joe Harper scoring off a loose ball.
Try scorers were Matt Newman (three), George Crook, Tom Hinks, Joe Harper, Aaron Mulligan and Matt Newell.
