KEEN runners from across the region donned their trainers to raise much-needed funds for a leading children's charity.
An estimated £700 has been raised for Save the Children, after more than 110 people and four dogs competed in the four-mile fun run.
It is the third time the event, a circular route beginning and ending at the Bowling Green Inn in Hadley has taken place, with Jan Grotefeld, co-ordinator of North Worcester Save the Children Group heralding the event a massive success.
"All the locals and everyone involved have been brilliant," she said.
"We've had volunteer marshals, people handing out water along the route, the fun run has been a really popular team effort."
Brian Eglesfield from Droitwich Sports Shop played a major part in co-ordinating this successful event.
The winner of the overall race was Gary Corbett from Wilden. The Kidderminster and Stourport Running Club member clocked a time of 22 minutes and 26 seconds.
