A NEW youth theatre group has been formed in Upton under the guidance of experienced amateur thespians, the Pepperpot Players.
Next month will see its maiden performance, with more than 40 children appearing in a show called Musical Mo-ments, directed by Porla Hickman and Mandy Harris.
Spokesman Rachel Willoughby said the new group, called the Peppercorns, had been formed "due to popular demand".
"The children, aged from seven to 17, have been rehearsing hard over the summer months and some phenomenal talent has been developing," she said.
"The show is a musical feast of show-stopping numbers from Oliver!, Annie, The Sound of Music, Les Miserables and Grease. Please show your support and book tickets now!"
Performances are at the Memorial Hall on September 12, 13 and 14 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3.50, available from PS Presents on High Street.
