NOTED pianist Angela Hewitt will be performing works by Ravel and JS Bach at the Malvern Theatres tomorrow (Saturday).
Ms Hewitt first hit the public eye in 1985 when she won the International Bach Piano Competition. Since then, she has embarked on a ten-year project to record all the major keyboard works of J S Bach and has already recorded all the solo works of Ravel, as well as the work of Debussy and Messiaen.
At Malvern, she will perform Bach's lively Italian Concerto and English Suites, together with Ravel's Valses Nobles et Sentimen-tales and Tombeau de Couperin.
Tickets for the 7.30pm performance start at £14, from 01684 892277.
