COMMITMENT to quality and training has won the Investors in People award for a Worcester residential home.
St Stephens Home for older people, in Barbourne, is managed by Partnership Care Services, which is a member of the Festival Housing Group.
The home, which recently underwent a £1.6m refurbishment programme, achieved the standards required for the commendation ahead of schedule.
"The Investors in People award endorses our commitment to providing top quality services to our residents.
"It proves that we are continually improving our systems," said Chris Almgill, group chief executive of the Festival Housing Group.
He said several members of staff at St Stephens had recently completed courses to receive their National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) training.
"We are actively promoting NVQ for all care staff in the home and for managers too," he said.
