INDUSTRY bosses in Wyre Forest have been encouraged to make the most of a "great opportunity" to talk to district MP Dr Richard Taylor.
Dr Taylor will be a guest at a breakfast meeting organised by Wyre Forest Business Forum on Friday, September 20, starting at 7.30am at the Granary Hotel, Shenstone.
Anyone from Wyre Forest's manufacturing industry will be welcome to attend, and a similar meeting will be held on Friday, December 13, at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough Suite.
Mr Hodge, who described the meeting as a 'Great opportunity" to talk to Dr Taylor, recently warned that the district was feeling the effects of a national downturn in manufacturing output, producing job losses.
He hopes the "downward trend" will put pressure on the Governor of the Bank of England to cut interest rates to help the recovery process.
