DEAR EDITOR - I am writing to express my members concern regarding the proposed available car parking when the new Waitrose store in Droitwich is in use.
We have an average of twenty-five home games when we entertain visiting bowlers, and on any one of these occasions, there are between twenty-five and thirty-five cars that will be requiring parking spaces.
We have no parking facilities at our bowls club, so we do rely on using the public car park on the Saltway.
With the increased vehicle traffic using the car parks to shop at the new store, and also parking required for visitors to the Vines Park canal area, we are very concerned that there will be insufficient parking spaces available for our own and visiting bowlers.
