DROITWICH Snooker Club's A team begins the defence of its Droitwich and District Snooker League title next week when the new season breaks off.
Five new teams have signed up for the weekly competition, which starts next Tuesday.
Droitwich Snooker Club A, who won the division one championship for the first time in eight years in June, are joined in the top flight by Droitwich Royal British Legion Club B, who won division two last term.
Bromsgrove Labour Club and Droitwich Golf Club are both entering two teams this season while Droitwich Snooker Centre will be entering a third and Aston Fields, a fourth. Bewell Head are the other new team.
