POLICE are appealing for two vital witnesses to contact them after a woman was discovered on fire at a Bromsgrove petrol station.
They are particularly keen to speak to a white man with a beard and a smartly dressed woman about the incident, when the woman set light to herself at the Esso Forest Service Station, in Birmingham Road, on Thursday, August 15.
They are thought to have left the scene prior to the officers' arrival.
Yesterday, a force spokeswoman said the Bromsgrove woman, who has not been named, is in the intensive care unit at Selly Oak Hospital and is in a critical, but stable condition.
The investigation is continuing into exactly how the burns victim sustained her injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call DC Martin Grant or DC Mike Allen on 01527 584888.
