PEOPLE throughout Worcestershire are being urged to grab the dog, pack a picnic and head off on a sponsored walk to raise cash for Acorns Children's Hospice Trust.
The charity has organised a three-mile stroll around Worcester Woods Country Park to boost the coffers of its Three Counties Appeal to raise £4m to build and equip a new hospice on the city's Bath Road.
"People can bring the children and the dog and have a great day out," said an Acorns spokeswoman.
For details of the walk, on Sunday, September 29 at 2.30pm, call 01905 767676.
