Police are hunting a man believed to be a Chelsea fan after a 10-year old girl suffered injuries when she was elbowed in the face.
The girl was with a group of children sitting on the steps leading down from a bridge known as the Iron Bridge, over the old railway line, in Hereford, when they were passed by two unknown men.
"Words were exchanged between the children and the men and one of the men elbowed the girl in the face, causing damage to her nose and chin," said a Hereford police spokeswoman.
The incident took place on Tuesday, August 13.
