STONE suffered another Worcestershire Saturday League Division Five defeat, this time at the hands of rivals Cutnall Green.
Green won the toss and invited Stone to bat, removing both openers with only 16 on the board.
Resistance from Kevin Hatton, with a career-best 21, Matt Tyrrell (18) and Brett Murphy (17) helped the score along.
But Stone were eventually all out for 111 with M Cox taking 3-21 and Matt Harris 2-9.
Stone reduced the visitors to 35-5 but Neil Fletcher (52 not out) joined D Higgins (26) and saw Green home with 18 overs left.
Rob Smith (2-20) and Pete Durnell (2-24) took most of the wickets for Stone.
Stone 111, Cutnall Green 112-5.
