A FRIDAY evening sewing class for young women has proved such a success it is to be extended to include cooking, keep fit, health and beauty.
The sewing group, aimed at 16-24 year-olds, has been funded by Worcestershire County Council and supported by Redditch Pakistan Community Forum.
Organiser Shanaz Haroon said the class, held at Community House, Easemore Road, from 4.15-7.15pm, attracted many women each week.
She added: "Last week was the fifth class and about 22 women came.
''I want to develop the group and do not only sewing classes but cooking, English and Urdu classes, health and beauty and keep fit."
