FOUR milk floats have been stolen from the Express Dairies depot in the past month, with three ending up in Arrow Valley Lake.

The other float was crashed into a tree in Redditch and is a write-off.

Express Dairies is now to install CCTV cameras at the Birmingham Road depot in a bid to catch the criminals.

Dennis Bradlock, of Express Dairies, said: "Because the floats are electric powered, new batteries have to be replaced after they have been in water - which costs about £4,000."

Despite the thefts, Mr Bradlock said no one had missed out on a milk delivery.
