A NEWLYWED couple are appealing for the return of their irreplaceable wedding photos which were stolen from the Abbey Hotel on Saturday, August 17.
Trevor and Ann Frost, from Rednal, got married earlier that day and were celebrating at the hotel when the theft happened.
The haul included cameras, video equipment and film that had been used throughout the day.
Police believe the culprit broke into the photographer's car to steal the equipment, which was worth several thousands of pounds.
Mr Frost, a photographer himself, said: "We simply want to get the pictures back. They're obviously of no value to anyone else but of sentimental value to us.
"The photographer who took the picture is a friend of ours and he stayed at the wedding after the pictures had been taken. That was when his car was broken into.
"It seems a heartless thing to do and I'd appeal to anyone who knows where the equipment is to get in touch with the police or return the unprocessed films and digital camcorder to the Abbey Hotel."
The hotel's CCTV system is now being examined.
