IT may be the middle of summer but the Bidford Christmas Lights Gala Day is set to wow villagers next week.
The annual gala will be held on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26, at Big Meadow, from 2-5pm and everyone is invited to join in the fun and games.
There will be bags of entertainment throughout the day, including Punch and Judy, face painting, skittles, a bouncy castle and welly wanging, all to raise money for the Christmas lights.
Other attractions include a garden on a plate competition, dog show, karaoke competition, trolley dash and classic cars as well as a fun fair.
If all that tires you out, refreshments will be served at the beer tent.
Entrance costs £1 for adults and 50p for five to 16-year-olds.
