THE Bromsgrove and District Heartstart Group will welcome town MP Julie Kirkbride to their open day, which will be held at the Spadesbourne Suite, Burcot Lane, Bromsgrove, on Saturday, October 19.
The open day is held annually at the Spadesbourne Suite to train members of the public aged eight years and over how to deal with emergency situations such as heart attacks, bleeding and choking. Training is given free of charge and could save the life of a friend or a family member.
The sessions are held at 10am and 1pm and last about two hours. All equipment is provided and some equipment will be on sale for those who wish to purchase it and certificates will be presented to participants. To book your place telephone 01526 883832 or 01526 884257 - booking is advised to ensure a place, but you can simply attend on the day about 30 minutes before each session is due to start.
