AT NEW College, students achieved an overall pass rate of 94 per cent.
Results also showed pupils at the Peakman Street campus achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in over three-quarters of the subjects studied and 51 per cent A-C grades.
Vice-principal Sara Nugent said: "The 94 per cent pass rate for general and vocational A-levels is a significant improvement on last year and we're delighted with the results.
"Congratulations and thanks go to the students for the hard work and commitment they have demonstrated in achieving these results.
"It is a glowing testimonial to the progressive approach and quality teaching employed by our sixth form centre."
NEW College students Fiona Fitton and Susanne Aubon celebrate their results. 358
