SUPERSTOCKS biker Andy Tinsley is determined to force his way back into the top five at Cadwell Park at the weekend after coming off at Thruxton.

The Astwood Bank rider, who is enjoying a great season, tangled with another rider two laps into the Thruxton meeting and ended his involvement.

But he wants a return to form on a Cadwell track he has not raced on for two years.

"I missed the Cadwell race last year so I don't have any settings," said Tinsley.

"It's an up and down circuit and can be quite exciting on a big bike.

"The track safety is not perfect which can play on your mind a bit but I will get on the rostrum before the end of the year to be sure."

Legs 11 team boss Dave Worthington just wants an uneventful race after a run of six crashes and an engine blow-out in the last seven meetings.

With lead rider Kelvin Reilly failing a medical after his last crash, backup rider Rhys Boyd crashed out at Thruxton, damaging his bike.

"We are hoping to get the parts from Holland for Rhys' bike," said Worthington.

"Kelvin will try to pass the medical again but one of his eyes was moving slower than the other at Thruxton which is a sign of concussion.

"We just want to consolidate after an awful year and not have any more crashes."
