GARRINGTONS Sunday enjoyed a dream start to the new Redditch and South Warwickshire league season with a 3-0 victory at HAD last Sunday.

Luke Chance was first on the score sheet, winning the ball on the edge of the HAD penalty area before beating two men to score from 15 yards.

Garringtons then had all the play with their midfield well on top and went further in front on the half hour when Robert Powell crossed for Yemi Ingram to force the ball home.

The second half saw Garringtons still on top but unable to take advantage of their possession until 70 minutes when Simon West, with almost his first touch of the ball, netted from 20 yards.
