DEAR EDITOR - Thank you for your assistance in obtaining £500 worth of Wilkinson vouchers.
On behalf of all the girls and Guiders in Droitwich I would like to thank Wilkinson Stores, and the Advertiser/Messenger, for their generosity.
Already the donation is being put to good use.
Our present wooden building was erected in 1973/74, and is in constant use and consequently in need of refurbishment and improvement to bring it in line with present day building requirements.
For example the kitchen is desperately in need of refurbishment.
Whilst we are continuing in our efforts to raise sufficient funds to hopefully build a more substantial building, the present one needs action taken to halt the deterioration. This donation will enable us to do just that.
Thank you again for your help and by the publicity you have given, and will hopefully continue to give our campaign, in order to keep it at the forefront of people's minds.
