CUTNALL Green's Neil Fletcher showed his class again last Sunday as he hit an unbeaten 141 in his side's 16-run defeat of Old Vigornians.
With Green batting first, Fletcher and Matthew Harris put on a partnership of 150 in 25 overs while the last 15 overs saw a 125-run second wicket partnership with Matthew Evans scoring 68. Green finished on 276-3.
In reply, Old Vigornians were 160-5 from 23 overs when Mattew Evans and Derek Higgins came to bowl.
The pair managed to curtail the batsmen and take the remaining five wickets in an exciting finish.
Old Vigornians were finally dismissed in the 38th over for 260 runs. Harris was the pick of the Green bowlers, taking 4-39.
