I WAS pleasantly surprised after stepping back to admire the musical talents of Mr Smith, as opposed to the most obvious talents he has physically.
The 14-tracks on his latest album, mostly written by Will himself, engulf the listener as soon as track one Born to Reign begins playing.
Of course, in line with all of Will's hits, there is a lot of rapping but track three, I Can't Stop, has a distinctive Latino feel to it.
Some tunes are fast and funky while others, including Maybe and Momma Knows, are more laid back and soulful.
Will worked with three other artists to complete this album as he feared his "innovative abilities exceeded his own talent".
It appears to have worked very much in Will's favour and staying with the theme of track seven, Nod Ya Head, I would definitely give the nod to this album.
