THE memory of the late Freddie Mercury lives on when a killer tribute band comes to Bromsgrove this month.
Killer Queen is promising townsfolk 'We Will Rock You' when they take to the stage at the Lickey End Social Club on Friday, August 30.
The band was formed in 1994 and is fronted by Scott Maley, who has an uncanny resemblance to the late, great Mercury.
And not only is he a mirror image of Mercury, he also delivers the same, flamboyant performance.
Originally named Kid Gluvz, the six-piece Walsall band used to also perform songs by Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel and George Michael.
However, the Queen material proved so popular the band decided to become a full time tribute act.
Regarded by many as the top Queen tribute act, town rockers can look forward to such hits including The Show Must Go On, Radio Ga-Ga and all time favourite Bohemian Rhapsody.
Award-winning rock guitarist Simon Lees joins the band as their support act.
Doors open at the Alcester Road gig at 8.30pm.
