ORGAN fanatics are in for a treat with a wide selection of organ events on the Fringe Festival.

Photographic displays, specifications and historic notes on all of Worcester's pipe organs is a part of a number of organ-related events tomorrow.

The Organs of the City exhibition includes free Bach mini-recitals between 2pm and 4pm in St Martin's Church, London Road.

Tom Winpenny will perform organ Music at Festival Eucharist in the Cathedral at 10.30am. His programme includes Marcia Eroica,and Pastorale by Stanford, Sonata VI by Bach and Worcester Processional by Jackson.

At 2.30pm Dr Roy Massey plays works by Whitlock, Stanford, Bairstow, Bull, Ireland, Nicholson, Ouseley Stainer and Wills on the organ at St Michael's College, near Tenbury Wells.

John Wilderspin, the organist of the Cathedral Voluntary Choir, gives his traditional Three Choirs Fringe recital in Perrins Hall at the Royal Grammar School, in The Tything, beginning at 4pm.

Organist Peter Dyke will perform for Evensong in the Cathedral playing the likes of Three Pieces from Richard III by Walton, a selection from the 1st set of Preludes and Postludes by Stanford, and Cantilne Improvise by Tournemire.

His recital will be held in the cathedral at 5pm.
