CO-OPTIONS are to take place to fill vacancies on Upton Town Council and Hanley Castle Parish Council. Resignations from Joyce Brown, due to pressure of other commitments, and Gordon Williams, due to the introduction of the new Code of Conduct, have left vacancies in Upton's Town and Hook wards respectively, while Ferdy Parker's move away from Gilbert's End left the gap on Hanley Castle parish council. Both authorities expect to have filled the vacancies by the end of next week.
