Ann Griffiths from The Embroidery Shop, Tenbury Wells, showed members examples of different ways of painting on silk at the June meeting.
Some members tried the art, producing pictures of flowers to take home.
Members rode on the Severn Valley Railway "fish and chips special" from Bewdley on June 22, ending at Bridgnorth for their meal.
The craft group visited Hampton Court Garden in Herefordshire.
On Tuesday Clare Harper will show a video and talk about the work of a donkey sanctuary. The talk will be at the bungalow, at the entrance to St Anne's Middle School. The competition will be for a model or picture of a donkey.
New members and visitors are always welcome at meetings, which start at 7.30pm.
