Two star

Expectations are a wonderful thing.

After the smash hit Always On Time with hip hop artist Ja Rule, expectations were very high, even stratospheric for this wannabe rhythm and blues stroke hip hop diva, but this album brings you back to earth and how.

Don't let the shiny silver sticker saying 'the number one US album' fool you into buying this bundle of mostly sickly sweet songs about love and relationships.

In fact the best song on the album, Intro, is an amalgamation of Ashanti's finest work, just in small bitesize snippets.

The rest, well it just fades away into the grotty background of keyboard drumbeats, all with the exception of Over.

This along with a few of Ashanti's more palatable work has innovative intros before the song starts, much like watching the director's commentary over a DVD.

Having said that, she's better than the rest of the new divas on the block so Shakira and Missy E watch out.
