REGARDING the reports (Evening News, July 3) from Warndon Parish Council, and the comments from county councillor John Buckley, could I remind him that it was his colleagues on the previous ruling Labour city council who agreed to the parking requirements for the new hospital and office blocks.
For several years, the Ronkswood Action Group and the Independent councillors warned hospital administrators and planning officers of the glaringly obvious lack of parking spaces for both staff and visitors.
There are the same planning officers whose recommendations, we are told by Councillors Williams, Hodges and Denham, are not to be overturned.
