A 31-year-old man appeared before Worcester magistrates on Monday morning charged with killing Michael James Kelly, whose body was found in an isolated copse near Bidford.
Mr Kelly, of Teme Road, Tolladine, Worcester, was found in Grafton Lane, between Temple Grafton and Bidford, at noon on Thursday.
Gerald John Edwards, formerly of Medway Road, Ronkswood, was remanded in custody until Tuesday, July 16.
