I WENT into Worcester during the Golden Jubilee celebrations expecting to see most of the shops decorated. I was disgusted to find that hardly any had bothered.

Are we ashamed of our national colours and the Union Jack?

All the large stores had to do was put some red, white and blue clothes in the windows, as they obviously couldn't afford any flags.

I did go into several shops and expressed my feelings. The answer I got was they were told what to do by head office, so this must mean that all our towns and cities are the same.

I would like to praise those shops that were decorated for the Jubilee.
