Elgar Housing Association is inviting tenants from Ramsons Close and May Bank, off Townsend Way, to a meeting on Monday (June 10).
This will give them a chance to raise matters of concern, said Steve Main, Elgar's tenant participation officer.
"There will not be a formal agenda and people can raise whatever matters they want to discuss," he said.
"It could be about provision of more activities for children in the summer, or it could be about the formation of an official residents' committee."
Mr Main said the area had had a residents' committee a few years ago but this folded after leading personalities died or moved out of the area.
The meeting is in Barnards Green Cricket Club, off North End Lane, at 7.30pm.
