A HARD-FOUGHT four-wicket win over Eastnor continued in-form Stourport's surge up the Worcestershire League Division Two table.

Tom Gloucester again looked in good form with a stylish 33 to launch the visitors reply.

Dave Cook took charge in a half-century partnership with Neil Wildgust but Cook eventually fell for 44 to spark a mini-collapse in the face of hostile bowling.

But Richard Lane and Jim Cook guided fourth-placed Stourport safely to their third consecutive win.

Eastnor 153, Stourport 154-6.

Stourport seconds continued their impressive form at Walshes Meadow, trouncing bottom-of-the-table Eastnor by nine wickets.
