A NO-WIN Bank Holiday weekend cost Chaddesley Corbett dear in the race for Worcestershire League Division One honours.
They were well beaten by fellow championship chasers Pedmore on Monday after a losing weekend draw at home to struggling Ombersley.
Chaddesley are now 31 points behind leaders Old Elizabethans with Pedmore second.
They could only muster 107 on Monday with the visitors' G Wood proving a difficult opponent, taking 7-37.
The total gave Pedmore few problems as they only lost one wicket in reply.
Chaddesley 107, Pedmore 108-1.
A high-scoring encounter on Saturday saw Ombersley put together the highest score of the day in the division with 295-9.
Andy Elbro claimed 5-52 and then saw his team-mates put up a defiant response which left them 58 runs short with four wickets left.
George Baylis batted well for 57 not out and Mark Edward added 43.
Ombersley 295-9, Chaddesley 237-6.
The seconds gained a winning draw after Martin Grange (51), Rob Stephens (42) and Sam Boden (42) took them to 238-8.
